Our neighborhood homeowner's association and community are special in many ways. Did you know the Oakridge Estates Home Owners Association is run by volunteers? This means your friends and neighbors are working to make everyone's community a better place. This also means we need more of our neighbors to volunteer each year as a part of the HOA. In addition, a completely volunteer board means the money from our annual dues goes directly back into our neighborhood. 

 

What does the HOA do? We work with the landscapers to keep our common areas beautiful, and our playground safe. We plan ahead for the changes with trees, which affects almost all of our green spaces.  We plan our community events of the Sleigh Ride, Annual Meeting, Easter Egg Hunt, 4th of July parade and Movie Night to end the summer. We welcome new neighbors with information and gifts to strengthen our community. We work with you to approve home improvements including, painting, roofing, additions and trees so that all of our homes' property values stay true. We work with THPRD, Clean Water Services, and PGE on behalf of us all.  We budget and plan for annual and long-term projects. 

 

HOA Board Members commit to a two-year term. We meet monthly to discuss the agenda and committee notes. Each HOA member can also expect to join a committee at some point in their two-year term. You can volunteer as an HOA member or as a HOA volunteer for specific events or ongoing projects. Most HOA members join at the annual HOA meeting held in the first quarter of the year. 

 

We've put our association online to provide you with more convenience and a wealth of Web site services and opportunities to share ideas and information; get news and announcements; access an online resource center for important association documents and forms; join discussion forums; utilize the member directory; and much more.
